Centria offers software development training, where you can learn the fundamentals of software development in order to start a career in the software development industry. After these studies, you can apply directly to Centria’s information technology degree programme or start working as a software developer.

Offered studies include mathematics, software development tools, fundamentals of programming, C# programming, databases, algorithms and full-stack web development with modern techniques. Studies are offered mostly as classroom teaching in Campus Allegro.

The applicant is required to have the willingness and enthusiasm to develop his or her own skills. The applicant benefits from logical thinking abilities and skills of problem-solving. Previous experience in programming is beneficial but not mandatory.


After this training student has good skills to start a career in software development. Also, the student is able to apply to studies that lead to an engineering degree at Centria.


Execution of the training

Training is provided in English. Implementation is mostly classroom studies during normal office hours. The programme takes place in Finland.
