How to log in and study at Averko

Courses begin with the teachers sending a study letter by email, giving more details on the course of study. Each course also includes course-info outlining details on completion and progress.

The actual study is web-mediated independent of time and place. The online study enables to study where and when it suits the student. Averko courses do have specific commencement and ending dates and many courses include deadlines for assignments.

Cancelling your course participation

You can cancel your participation in studies free of charge within 3 weeks from the starting day of studies. All you need to do is to inform Averko study advisor about the cancellation. This is done by sending email to averko@centria.fi. Make sure to mention your name and the course(s) you were participating in the message. Once the cancellation is handled, you will get a confimation message back.

Transcript of records and getting your credits

Course completions are recorded in a study register within a month of the end of the course. Averko courses completed by full-time students at the Centria UAS are automatically recorded in Peppi.

After having completed the course, full-time students of other UAS should use the Puro-service or Oma opintopolku to retrieve their credits and transfer credits to the home organisation. You can check your school procedures from here: Campusonline transferring study attainments

For other students, a certificate of completion is sent to them on request: averko@centria.fi
